[ She refuses to let her life be ruled by it, but there are far too many things happening in this land that make it hard not to overthink— over feel at times. ]
You know, he said something strange to me that night. In the hotel room, I mean. I wonder... what strange things he's said to you as well.
Pointing out he was also a victim isn't a flaw, but he certainly treated it like one. Or an insult, rather. ... it really doesn't bother you? Any of it?
Right. You had mentioned an illusion back then... Well, I am sorry to hear that happened still. It's unfortunate that anyone would have to deal with such behaviour to begin with.
I have to say you're a curious person. Most others have a... stronger reaction to Akechi-kun. Especially on Sleepr where some told me they sort of agreed with what the Oracle wrote for me...
Not many adults would extend such care to younger people.
[ Not all adults and she's met many wonderful older Dreamers here (and of course, there's Niijima-san and Sakura-san, Zenkichi a bit of a mystery still to the Thieves), but she's accustomed to adults who couldn't spare a thought or sympathy for younger generations. ]
But I guess... you had mentioned being a teacher. It's nice to hear that you and Abe-san care so much for your students.
It should be, I agree. Well, things were better after that whole ordeal at my high school, but there was a period where staff and other adults knew about the things happening to the students. So it's sometimes strange to meet teachers who genuinely care about their work and students. It must be a lot of work and you don't get a lot of time off.

I usually just tune it out. Until it's relevant to point out his flaws.

Maybe she had said the wrong thing at that time.
Perhaps she had to acknowledge they were both survivors, rather than mere victims. ]
Not to be blunt, but... didn't you mention a stabbing?
Did he hurt you?
